AENOR joins forces with Alastria to promote solutions and projects with blockchain technology

29 April 2021 – AENOR has signed an agreement with Alastria, the association for the promotion of the digital economy through blockchain technologies to support the commitment to innovation and digital transformation based on decentralised technologies.

AENOR has thus become the first company in its sector to join this national network of more than 500 companies and institutions, in which it seeks to advance in the development of blockchain technology and to promote synergies with other participating actors.

Alastria’s objective of accelerating the digital transformation of different sectors through the implementation of blockchain, which provides agility, veracity, security and efficiency in processes, is completely aligned with AENOR’s philosophy, which exists and has been developed by supporting the transformation of society by creating trust between organisations and people. The blockchain is currently, and will be even more so in the near future, one of the base technologies for transforming how people interact with their environment.

“Alastria has become the point of reference for all public or private entities that want to make blockchain an element that improves people’s lives. Being part of the network opens up new possibilities for us to develop services and products that respond to the needs of organisations and that can count on the added value of blockchain technology”, said AENOR’s Director of Sector and Product Marketing, Javier Mejía.

Montse Guardia, CEO of Alastria, said that “one of Alastria’s greatest strengths is its ecosystem. Every associate has know-how and a vision of the business world, which is enriched and fed back by being shared with other members, whose interests and concerns are similar. We are delighted that AENOR is joining Alastria because it brings a lot of knowledge about the conformity assessment sector and the data market, which is key to confidence in the business world and for citizens, especially in this new normality”.

About AENOR
