In this 6th edition, Joining Forces for Blockchain Standardisation 2026 will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, and technical experts to discuss the role of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies in supporting Europe’s digital regulatory frameworks and global standards.
Co-organised by the European Commission and INATBA, the event will focus on how standards can support key European initiatives related to digital identity, cybersecurity, financial innovation, sustainability, trusted digital infrastructures, and more.
Alastria and ISBE – Infraestructura de Servicios Blockchain de España will be there.
Participants may join either in person in Brussels or online.
– In-person participation: The event will take place at European Commission premises (DG CONNECT). Participants who select in-person attendance will be contacted after registration to provide additional information required for access to the Commission building.
– Online participation: Participants joining virtually will receive a dedicated connection link prior to the event.
