CIRCULOOS

CIRCULOOS

Execution period: September 2023 – February 2027

Alastria participates in the CIRCULOOS project, whose aim is to establish a circular manufacturing ecosystem for manufacturing SMEs, building on the existing integrated innovation IoT platform RAMP (bringing together more than 30 Digital Innovation Hubs across Europe) and the wider European network surrounding it.

Objective

CIRCULOOS seeks to offer micro, small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises a transformative opportunity towards the circular economy, through state-of-the-art tools that enable them to leverage reliable data to build a collaborative ecosystem where supply chains are dynamic and environmentally optimised throughout the entire product life cycle.

This transformation will rely on resources and technologies such as Blockchain, Data Spaces for Industry 4.0, Process Automation, AI-based Life Cycle Analysis, Machine Vision and Robotics.

This EU project, funded under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, started in September 2023 with a kick-off meeting in Athens and will conclude in February 2027. It is supported by a consortium of 19 partners coordinated by European Dynamics, including RTOs, Digital Innovation Hubs, industrial providers, manufacturing SMEs, industrial clusters, open call managers, and dissemination and communication specialists, making use of the existing networks and communities of these partners.

Alastria’s participation

Alastria contributes to CIRCULOOS across several work packages related to providing blockchain network infrastructure, supporting the adoption of the EBSI network, and carrying out the design, analysis, customisation, training, support and consultancy of the supply chain risk-management process. Alastria also supports communication and dissemination activities for the project.
