Asociación Consorcio Red Alastria (Alastria Association Network Consortium), with registered address at C/ Alberto Aguilera, 23 (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE), 28015-Madrid, registered in the First Section of the National Registry of Associations under number 616096, and phone number +34 683 49 37 48 (“Alastria” or the “Association”), is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data concerning users (“Users”) who visit Alastria’s website (the “Website” or the “Site”), for the purposes described below. This is without prejudice to other processing activities that may be carried out, as detailed in the table included in Clause 3 of this document. This policy informs you about how the Association will use your personal data and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

In this privacy policy, you will find a table identifying, for each of the different data processing activities carried out by the Association, the following information:
-The purposes of the processing of your personal data, i.e., the reasons why the Association processes your personal data.
-The legal bases that allow the Association to process your personal data for each of the indicated purposes.
-The possible disclosure of your data to third parties, including the reasons and legal basis for such disclosures. Additionally, data processors, i.e., service providers who need access to your personal data in order to perform their functions, may access your personal data. In general, these providers operate in the information systems and technology sector. The table below will specify the sectors in which the Association’s service providers require access to your personal data.
You may request more detailed information about the recipients of your data by sending an email to dataprotection@alastria.io, indicating the specific processing activity about which you seek further information.
-The existence of potential international data transfers outside the European Economic Area.
You may request more detailed information regarding any international transfers of your data, and the safeguards implemented for such transfers, by sending an email to dataprotection@alastria.io and indicating the specific processing activity you are inquiring about.
-The data retention periods. Your data will also remain blocked to comply with potential legal, administrative, or tax claims for the periods provided by applicable legislation.
Personal data (“Data”) refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”). The Data processed by Alastria comes from the information you provide as a User when filling out forms on the Website, registering for Alastria events (“Events”), browsing the Website, registering as a member of Alastria through the Website, or submitting queries or requests for information.
Each form will indicate the contact Data that must be provided in order for us to respond to your request, marked with an asterisk. Fields not marked with an asterisk are optional. Only the Data necessary for each purpose is collected. Please note that if you do not provide the required information, Alastria may not be able to process your request or manage the related processing.
As a User, you are responsible for providing truthful and up-to-date Data. Alastria reserves the right to exclude Users who provide false, incorrect, or unauthorized Data from its services and/or cancel those services, without prejudice to its right to take legal action.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the forms require mandatory completion. Failure to complete these fields may result in the inability to properly establish or fulfill the relationship with the Association. The fact that consent is requested in any document does not imply an obligation to give it. Refusal to provide consent will not result in any negative consequences.
To ensure the information provided remains current and accurate, you must notify the Association as soon as possible of any changes or corrections to your personal data.
The data processed by the Association for the purposes described above will be obtained directly from the data subject. However, for the purpose of managing the “Become a member” form, as described above, the Association may also obtain data from the company the data subject represents, in cases where the representative of the new member indicated in the form is not the same person completing it.
In such cases, and in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we inform you of the data source (as described above), as well as the categories of data collected, which include:
-Identification data: First name, last name
-Email address
-Contact telephone number
-Professional position
-Access your personal data to know which data is being processed and the processing operations carried out
-Request the rectification of inaccurate personal data
-Request the deletion of your personal data when possible and where it does not affect the proper management of the relationship with the Association
-Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data when its accuracy, legality, or necessity is in doubt, and in other cases provided for in the GDPR
-Object to the processing of your personal data when the legal basis for processing is legitimate interest. The Association will stop processing your data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or it is necessary for the defence of legal claims
-Withdraw your consent at any time
-Request data portability when the legal basis for processing is a contractual relationship or your consent
To exercise these rights, you must send a written request to dataprotection@alastria.io. Your request must be duly signed, include your full name and address, and specify which rights you wish to exercise.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe a violation of data protection legislation has occurred regarding the processing of your personal data.
