Tenerife Tourism and the Alastria Consortium organize a new workshop for the application of Blockchain to the tourism sector. On Friday, September 25, in a two-hour virtual session, we will talk first about digital talent; we will review the advances of the case of use of this technology in Tenerife (in the services and processes of a hotel and a tourist activities company), and add a much-needed extra: how to ensure traceability and safety of local food.
The Blockchain allows you to plot and verify each element of the value chain of products and services. This makes it ideal to guarantee the safety of a tourist destination that follows post-Covid rules, and generates peace of mind for the tourist. It is also used to measure the carbon footprint and any other variables of interest.
